Tow and dump almost any type of bulk materials such as sand, gravel, fertilizer, wood and cement with the Apex Tow-N-Dump Hopper by teaming it with a lightweight vehicle. Problems associated with sending large equipment with small loads for minor jobs can be alleviated. The one person operated towable unit can be easily maneuvered in hard-to-reach areas to dump or fill its load. To operate, hook the unit to your ball-type hitch or optional lunette eye hitch, load and transport over the road to the dumping site. Release the safety lock and trip the handle to dump the contents. The constant brake hand winch (1500 lb. capacity) allows the operator to control the flow of material. The smooth hopper interior assures discharge of materials. Rewind the winch and the unit is ready for refilling. The fold-away, top wind jack is used to free stand the unit when it is not in use or coupled to a vehicle. The Tow-N-Dump Hopper is quality constructed for long, maintenance free life. The continuously welded body is fabricated of 7 gauge steel plate and reinforced with structural angles, while the base is 1/4" plate reinforced with structural members and tubing. Standard features include a 2" ball coupling, tires (Load "D" on 15" wheels rated 4700 lb.), axle and leaf springs (6000 lb. maximum capacity), required road lighting and fenders. Loads up to 4500 lbs. can easily be accommodated. The units are painted high visibility yellow.
